A coastal community that preserves tradition and a back bay lifestyle.

Cobb Development Company introduces Long Bayou Preserve, a thoughtfully designed, small-scale development on a pristine 400-acre family-owned property, nestled between Long Bayou and the Intracoastal Waterway. For nearly a century, this land has been carefully managed with a deep respect for its natural beauty, and the vision for its future remains true to that legacy.

The Property will be subdivided into 48 single-family residential lots for sale. The spacious single-family lots will impact just 2.3 acres of coastal wetlands, only 5% of the property. The Developers are dedicated to minimizing environmental disruption throughout the process. Collaborating with the Corps of Engineers and ADEM, who have approved the wetlands mitigation of the project, the Developers ensure that Long Bayou's vibrant ecosystem remains healthy and undisturbed.

36 of the 48 lots will be waterfront lots. A number of these will have the ability to build their own pier and boat lift and also the community will have 26 boat slips available to purchase. The Community will also have a Lodge and Pool for Owner’s and Guest use.

The Co-Developer, Richard Cobb, has been a resident of Baldwin County for 50 years and the last 25 years in Orange Beach. He has developed and built homes here and has never developed or built anything that is not completely low impact and creative. The plan is to keep this reputation intact as a good steward of the land.
